Exam: Upon completion of the Instructor-led Course, including all cognitive content and all hands-on skills practice and testing, students need to pass the 50 question final exam with a minimum score of 84%. Exam is open resources, which means you can use your book/eBook/notes.
PreCourse Work (Required at Home): Online Precourse work will take 4-hours plan accordingly, must be done prior to in-person component. See below on how to take.

Course Info: The ONE-DAY ACLS program is for students who do not have a current American Heart Association ACLS card, or for those students renewing with current cards who wish to take the full program. This is an accelerated course, advance preparation is highly advised. You must complete both the Precourse Self-Assessment and Precourse Work. (see below).
This program covers the ACLS core cases as outlined by the American Heart Associations which include: Airway Management, Bradycardias, Tachycardias, Cardiac Arrest cases Team Dynamics, Coronary Syndrome, Stroke. Completion of the Precourse Self Assessment & Precourse work is required prior to first day of class.
Intended Audience: The course is designed for healthcare providers such as physicians, nurses, paramedics, respiratory therapists, and other professionals who may respond to a cardiovascular emergency.
Course Length: Approximately 5 Hours of in-person learning + PreCourse work 4-5hrs at Home + 1 hour In-Person Exam = 12hrs in total time

Certification: Two (2) Year American Heart Association (AHA) Certification - Same Day AHA Certification - Card Issued at end of Course pending successful completion of written and MegaCode Testing. eCards Issued at end of Course
Physician Assistants (PA): AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ from organizations accredited by ACCME or a recognized state medical society. Physician assistants may receive a maximum of 3.00 hours of Category I credit for completing this program.
Nurse Practitioners: American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) accepts AMA PRA Category 1 CreditTM from organizations accredited by the ACCME.
Nurses: ANCC Credit Designation Statement, The maximum number of hours awarded for this CE activity is 4.5 contact hours

Paramedics/EMTs: EMS for 9.75 Basic CEHs (CAPCF), activity number 16-AMHA-F2-0309

Prerequisite: Current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider CPR card. If your BLS card is expired, you must complete the BLS for Healthcare Providers course completion (BLS during ACLS) testing during the Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and BLS written exam, for an additional $55. If you do not have an American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider card you must take a full course. After successful completion you will be issued a current AHA BLS Healthcare Provider Card.

- Successful completion of the ACLS Precourse Self-Assessment and Precourse work will result in a the certificate and pre-test score. Print and bring in completed results with you on day of course.
