The New Jersey State Board of Pharmacy now requires all pharmacists to have CPR training at the Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers Level for giving immunizations. - American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (B.L.S.) Certification.
Current certification in the American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) for health care providers or in a course that complies with guidelines created by the International Uaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCCR) is provided by ShowMeCPR LLC. The ILCOR guidelines, 2005 International Consensus on Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC) Science with Treatment Recommendations, are incorporated herein by reference, as amended and supplemented, and can be found at the American Heart Association website. Proof of the current Basic Life Support (B.L.S.) Certification from a course approved by the American Heart Association is a requirement for applying for your license and to give immunizations.

1. Register with the American Heart Association online portal at http://www.onlineaha.org and take class BLS for Healthcare Providers Online part 1 (15-1400) under course catalog. You will pay the American Heart Association $28.50 to take the online course. Once you complete the course at your own pace, Print the Certificate with Serial Number and bring it with you to the in-person skills test.
2. See Course Calendar and Pick/Date and time for Skills Test on the Calendar Cost for in-person skills test is $55 and lasts about 45 min-1 hour skills session at our training center in Wayne New Jersey (about 2mins from the Willowbrook Mall)
That's it! Entire cost is $83.50 and your certified by the American Heart Association in B.L.S Basic Life Support CPR from the American Heart Association. All students will receive a two (2) year certificate from the American Heart Association. Same Day Certification as we are a trusted training site with the American Heart Association!
