Q. Where are you located?

Q. Do I get certified by the
American Heart Association?
A. Yes, all courses taught are the American Heart
Association curriculum, CPR certifications are good for 2 years.
ShowMeCPR is an authorized provider of CPR and ECC Courses of the
American Heart Association Training Center of New Jersey and as
such fall under their internal accreditation programs. ShowMeCPR
is an affiliate of St. Michael's Medical Center, Newark New Jersey
an American Heart Association Authorized Training Center #NJ00558
Q. How can I verify if you
are an Authorized Provider of CPR and ECC of the American Heart
Association?
A. To verify us with the American Heart Association
You can call the AHA National Service Center
at 1-877-AHA-4CPR or 1-888-CPR-LINE. Provide them with the AHA Class
ID & the AHA Training Site ID (Listed on the Course Registration
of each class date on our calendar) and they can verify the class
as an approved AHA CPR Class. Our affiliate American Heart Association
Training Center ID is NJ00558.

Q. How soon will I get my CPR
Card?
A. Students who pay by cash/credit card receive same day American Heart Association Certification for all BLS Healthcare Provider cards, if you pay by check we will hold your certification for 3 days to ensure the check clears.
Q. What Payments to you accept?
A. You can pay in person at the start of the class
(Cash/Check/Money Order/Credit Card/PayPal) or you can pay via PayPal
with a credit card ahead of time. If you pay on day of class a book/manual
will not be sent to you ahead of time. Renewal classes do not receive
a book.
Q. If I take an Online course,
how does that work?
A. All Online courses MUST be taken via the
American Heart
Association Online Portal, (http://www.onlineaha.org). Once
you take the online class, the AHA will present you with a certificate
with a serial number/proof of completing the online course. Then
you must meet with us to practice your skills in person on the manikins
and equipment, followed by a skills test. Once you complete your
skills test, then the physical card will be issued by the American
Heart Association.
Q. Why are other websites so
cheap, what's the catch with those $19.95 CPR cards?
A. Please be very careful and look out for fake
CPR classes, especially the online versions that advertise for instant
certification. The American Heart Association does not give instant
cards online. ShowMeCPR teaches to the American Heart Association
standard, but some places do not. Our classes are required for Nurses,
Doctors, Paramedics, Nursing Students, Lifeguard, EMT and meet specific
guidelines are set by the AHA. Our prices are very competitive,
and lower then most. If you find a CPR class cheaper we will honor
their price.
Q. Why don't you offer "instant"
CPR card online?
A. Because the American Heart Association does not
offer instant CPR cards or wallet cards online. In the state of
NJ, NY and PA and other Northeast US states, hospitals, nurses,
paramedics, doctors, lifeguards are required to take the American
Heart Association classes. Don't get fooled by "instant"
CPR cards, the AHA does not do them.
Q. Do you offer onsite CPR
training?
A. Yes we offer onsite CPR training at your home
or business but you must have a minimum of 6 people. Call us at
