Course Info: Heartsaver CPR AED (with optional First Aid) is a classroom, video-based, instructor-led course that teaches students critical skills needed to respond to and manage a choking or sudden cardiac arrest emergency (or optional First Aid) in the first few minutes until emergency medical services (EMS) arrives.

Audience: This course is designed to train individuals in the use of an AED and for those who have a duty to respond to a cardiac emergency because of job responsibilities or regulatory requirements such as Daycare Providers, construction and office workers as well as educators and coaches require HeartSaver CPR. This course teaches a simpler version of CPR and uses equipment you would find in a public setting.

This course also teaches adult CPR and AED (child CPR/infant CPR/First Aid is optional). Upon completion of this course, students receive an American Heart Association Heartsaver CPR AED Course Completion Card that is valid for two years.

During the course, an AHA Instructor conducts video-based lessons and works with students to complete their CPR and AED skills practice and testing.

This class can included the Optional First Aid module, students learn skills such as how to treat bleeding, sprains, broken bones, shock and other first aid emergencies. Additional Cost Required.

Note: The American Heart Association HeartSaver CPR AED Course is NOT recommended for people in or entering the medical profession or if you are a student with clinical rotations (ie, Nursing Students) in a healthcare facility. Please see CPR BLS for Healthcare Provider.

Course Length: Adult/Child: Approx 2 hours - Course Fee: $70.00

Course Length: Adult/Child & Infant: Approx 3 hours - Course Fee: $75.00

Course Length: Adult/Child & Infant with First Aid: Approx 4 hours - Course Fee: $90.00

Certification: Two Year American Heart Association (AHA) Certification will issued pending successful completion.
