nurses-running-mastheadAs per the NJ Board of Nursing Law 13:37-16.4 Application for certification. Proof that the applicant has current certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) from a course approved by the American Heart Association.

Most all Colleges, Universities and Hospitals in NJ, including Rutgers University/UMDNJ, Seton Hall, William Paterson University, Fairleigh Dickinson University, Bloomfield College, Felician College, Passaic County College & Essex County College only recognize CPR certification from the American Heart Association to be accepted for clinical rotations.
